Enjoy the magic of Christmas in the city of the Alhambra, an unforgettable experience.

Come and enjoy this very special time of year in Granada.

Lose yourself among the beautiful stalls of the Christmas market in Bib-Rambla. Share the magic of the season with your children by admiring the many nativity scenes that adorn the city or by watching the traditional Three Kings Parade. Savor the delicious convent sweets made by the nuns of Granada and, of course, enjoy a special New Year’s Eve dinner in a wonderful restaurant, extending your evening until dawn at one of the city’s most exclusive parties.

During the Christmas and New Year holidays in Granada, there will be plenty of opportunities for fun, and we can enjoy our traditional festivities once again. There will be no excuse to stay home during these days.

Nearly two and a half million lights will illuminate the city starting on Saturday, December 30, 2025. The eagerly awaited moment that will kick off the Christmas festivities will take place at 6:00 p.m. in Plaza del Carmen, where the Carpa Diem choir will sing some Christmas carols and the Granada City Council will proceed with the official switching on of the Christmas lights.
