Sierra Nevada launches its early bird ski pass campaign this Monday, September 15th, with discounts of up to 30%. This special discount is being offered by the ski resort to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the historic 1996 Alpine Ski World Championships, which transformed the Granada ski resort into one of the most important in southern Europe.
The new discount will apply to 10, 15, and 20-day passes and will be valid for 96 hours, starting at midnight on Monday, September 15th. After the initial 30% discount period, the discount will decrease to 20% on the same passes (plus full-season passes) until October 15th.
With the advance sales period for ski passes now open, Sierra Nevada officially enters the preseason for the 2025/26 winter season. The ski resort is investing nearly €19 million in restaurants, ski lifts, snowmaking, parking, public services, and customer service, among other areas.
In addition, the Andalusian Regional Government is moving forward with the comprehensive and aesthetic improvement of the access road to Sierra Nevada, the A-395, with an investment of over €22 million (€22,491,748). The works, which were put out to tender this summer, will address the landslides that have historically plagued the road. The project includes stabilizing the slopes, reinforcing the road surface along 17 kilometers, and constructing park-and-ride facilities along the access route to the ski resort.
